HISTORY

The Avipo Group is a specialist in engraving and finishing on metal parts.

Back in 1978 in the Haut-Doubs, the home of French watchmaking, Jean Chapatte and his son Jean-Paul Chapatte founded Avipo as a company dedicating to polishing clocks, watches and parts. Over the years, the company adapted and improved their processes to meet the changing demands of their markets, allowing them to stay ahead of the game in terms of their techniques and expertise.

In the face of growing demand, the company then integrated two new skill sets: chemical engraving and lacquering. Thanks to our core values of technical performance, innovation, speed and flexibility, here at Avipo we can provide services of the highest quality to clients both at home and abroad. We’ve been renowned for our reliable and comprehensive range of services for over forty years, even among the most demanding clients.
